The Family Care Coordinator assists the Foster Parents and supervisory staff in the delivery of Foster Care Services. The Family Care Coordinator will also assist individuals served in identifying and accessing community supports and services.
Critical job functions:
Observation
Teaching

Implementation of goals and objectives
Communication with the youth, Foster Families, Apex Staff, and other members of the treatment team
Qualified Individuals will have:
Bachelor’s degree in human services or related field
Experience working with children
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Good driving record and ability to pass pre-employment background checks

The Overnight Triage Support Specialist provides supervision and support for youth who have newly entered the child welfare system or have not secured a stable placement due to behavioral issues in a foster home setting, ensuring a safe, stable, and structured environment.
Critical job functions:
Monitoring youth behavior
Enforcing house guidelines
Respond calmly to crises or emergencies using de-escalation techniques
Documentation of incidents and behaviors
Qualified individuals will have:
Minimum of a high school diploma
Be at least 21 years of age
Experience working with at-risk youth
Good driving record and ability to pass pre-employment background checks

The main goal of the Triage and Group Home Support Specialist is to provide support and supervision to youth in a structured environment. Individuals in this position will respond to conflict in a trauma informed manner using trained de-escalation techniques. Documentation and weekly reporting will be required to assist with assessing youths progress and ongoing needs.
Critical job functions:
Assist in care planning for youth
Supervision, development, and support of youth in a Triage or Group Home setting
Monitor and document observations and behavior
Collaborate with supervisors to support individualized care plans
Qualified individuals will have:
Minimum of a high school diploma
Be at least 21 years of age
Experience working with at-risk youth

The Independent Living Skill Builder provides guidance and instruction to older teens in foster care, developing independent living skills needed for a successful transition to adulthood. Teaching and support areas include budgeting, meal planning, job readiness, time management, and household responsibilities.
Critical job functions:
·Building positive mentor relationships
Teaching
Connecting teens with community resources
Monitoring progress and outcomes
Qualified individuals will have:
Bachelor’s degree, or Associate’s degree, Plus 1 year of experience working with teens, or high school diploma plus 2 years of experience working with teens
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Good driving record and ability to pass pre-employment background checks
